TUMMEL VALLEY

In the north of the United Kingdom in the vicinity of Cairngorms national park, Tummel Valley is a secluded and remote caravan park. The park is mostly being frequented by temporary visitors, staying only a few days up to two weeks. However there is also a community of all-year residents. The park and its life is somehow self-contained. Without the urgent need of going anywhere (except for medical emergencies) everything is being provided by the park-service company „Parkdean“.There are leisure areas, one restaurant and a bar. A bus service provides a connection with the outside world.

During their stay tenants may use their own caravans and or/those of the service company. Parkdean offers standard caravans in ten different price categories, to match clients’ needs. Most caravans also have some sort of a personalized „branding“ by their respective owners – however most caravans still bear a striking resemblance to each other. Flyers and posters of park- provider Parkdean also remind the inhabitants on a daily basis that there are various possibilities for „upgrades“ on their vacation.
